Life always has an expiration date looming in the distance– though its proximity to you remains mysterious. This ephemerality is something which we have learned to live with, whether that manifests as coping through religious practices and teachings, or trying your best to ignore the concept of death entirely. In this publication, I explore the ways in which we interact with this daily tragedy through photographic experimentation with soil.
