Bringing together family when there is a large geographical distance between members creates a challenge. In this video, stories are told from multiple meaningful people in my life during the shooting of this video. These stories relate to fabric which each person gave to me, which I then hand sewed into a bear. This bear strings together feelings of regret, joy, and simultaneously newness and oldness, leading to its torn up but well loved appearance, reminiscent of the handicraft of homemade objects.
